Trinity Episcopal Church | Folsom, CA
We are so excited to welcome you back to gathering for worship in our newly expanded and renovated building! We'll also continue broadcasting on Facebook at 9am. Masks covering your mouth and nose are required when you are in the building. Lectors will remove their masks to read, and the clergy will remove their masks to preach and to celebrate the Eucharist. The parish staff and all volunteers interacting with the public are vaccinated. If you forget or do not have a mask, we have some available and the ushers will provide one for you. Instead of passing an offertory plate, we'll have one placed in the narthex, or you can slide offerings through the mail slot in the front door of Trinity House - or mail them to the church office at 801 Figueroa. Communion will continue to be in one kind only (the bread), and you can slide your mask up briefly to consume it. Coffee Hour, Children's Chapel, Nursery, and Special Needs Respite Care will be offered later this summer as our other buildings begin opening up. Finally, since we are masking, you do not have to be vaccinated to attend worship service in the building. But if you are not already vaccinated and you can be and are eligible, we strongly encourage you to make that appointment! Many of us signed up as soon as possible, but others have been waiting, for reasons of convenience, lack of a sense of urgency, vaccine hesitancy, or any one of a number of other reasons. If you just haven't gotten around to it yet, let this be the prompt to take care of it. As I've said before, it's rare for me to be interested in being the first one out of the gate, preferring to wait and see what happens, but after gathering as much information as I could and assessing the risks and benefits, I eagerly signed up for a waiting list to get my jab as soon as possible. Even if you aren't concerned about the risk for yourself, this disease is relatively easy to transmit and can have devastating consequences fo
