[Silent Helm Richter Underwater Productions Silent Helm (Richter Underwater Productions) is a Milwaukee diving group committed to creating and producing underwater video, stills and artwork for the purpose of Great Lakes shipwreck research, periodicals, web sites and general entertainment. Our lead videographer, Rick Richter, has been diving since 1987 and has been featured in several publications, productions and commercials. His assignments have taken him to all corners of the United States and the Caribbean. Current projects include, along with researching Southwest Lake Michigan Shipwrecks, documentation of the current and continued deterioration of the British Mine Sweeper Katherine which sank near the parish of St. Mary, in Ochos Rios, Jamaica and the video documentation of the 80 square miles of Bonne Terre Mine passages and artifacts.]
