thecslewis-studygroup.org
The C.S. Lewis Study Group
This group is for those interested in studying the thought and writings of C.S. Lewis. Occasionally the work of other authors that touch on the similar themes and topics found in Lewis’ writings (e.g. George Macdonald and G.K. Chesterton) will be considered. We will also consider some of the key aggreements and disagreements that developed between Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien; including considerations ranging from how they influenced one another at a personal level–as believers in Christ– as well as their disagreements with respect to literary style and form. On occasion we will also, depending on enough group interest, study other writings and authors whose main focus is Christian apologetics, though the main focus will remain on Lewis’ writings.
