The 812-S41 SR Electrical Outlet Enlcosure has upgraded for improvements of strength, functionality and aesthetics. This week we will focus on the enhancements in functionality.
The 812-S41 SR Electrical Outlet Enlcosure now has a universal design, meaning that it can accomodate any type of electrical device. As mentioned last week the backplate of the enclosure is fastened to the electrical box. The electrical device mounts in front of the enclosure backplate and finally, the wall plate is mounted in front of the electrical device. This arrangement means that you no longer have to order an enclosure specifically for a duplex device or a GFI device or a toggle device etc. - one unit does it all!

The 812-S41 SR Electrical Outlet Enlcosure has upgraded for improvements of strength, functionality and aesthetics. This week we will focus on the enhancements in strength.
Strength improvement has been achieved in 3 ways:
1. An upgraded tubular lock and key system is stronger than the previously used leaf locks.
2. The enclosure is now fastened to the electrical box rather than the elecrical device, which provides a more secure anchor.
3. The hinge has been relocated to the apex of the enclosure, which results in a reduction of the applied stressors.

The hinge of the 812-S42 SR Thermostat Enclosure has been relocated to the top of the unit. This results in a stronger unit, and a cleaner appearing design.
