[JERIN ARIFA Jerin Arifa's award-winning work has changed millions of lives — from
cutting-edge cancer research to community organizing. Jerin spearheaded the
sexual harassment and assault policy for one of the largest universities in
the U.S. — while undocumented! Now, as an American citizen, Jerin provides
proven sexual harassment solutions to reduce employee turnover and increase
productivity. She leverages 14 years of successes in corporate and
nonprofit communications strategies, along with expertise in ending
gender-based discrimination, to foster organizational cultures based on
empathy and excellence. When not working, Jerin trains activists across the
U.S. to create change in their own communities as the Founder and President
of the National Organization for Women’s (NOW) inaugural virtual chapter,
Young Feminists and Allies. Skilled at coalition-building, she engineers
safe spaces for marginalized groups, such as sold-out events for LGBTQAI+
Muslims. Jerin received multiple awards, such as being chosen out of 10,000
nominees to attend the historic United State of Women Summit under
President Obama. Her work has appeared in diverse outlets from The New York
Times to Cosmopolitan, and she presents regularly to local, national and
international audiences. A practicing Muslim feminist, she is happily
married to an atheist, Alaskan man. They love exploring cultures and nature
in New York City.]
