[Doing Modernity: Using Critical Interactionism to Study Everyday Life "Doing Modernity" is a blog concerned with how power, oppression and inequality are accomplished in everyday life. Theoretically, I draw upon a range of "interactionisms", including work in ethnomethodology / conversation analysis, symbolic interactionism, and others explicitly concerned with the constitution of the social world through situated activity.
