[Chimacum Corner Farmstand Chimacum Corner Farmstand is a one-of-a-kind natural-foods grocery on
Washington's Olympic Peninsula selling a full line of groceries with the
emphasis on organic fare and its abundant local goods. Known as the "Corner
Store" to locals, it is located across the street from Finnriver Cidery on
highway 19, about 10 miles outside of Port Townsend. Chimacum is a vibrant
agricultural community with many small organic farms which provide the
store with humanely-raised grass-fed meats, all sorts of heritage varieties
of organic fresh produce, local open-pollinated seeds, organic vegetable &
herb plant starts, and even soil amendments. But that's not all. You won't
believe what the peninsula bakes, brews, pickles, and bakes! The area is
chock full of talented food and beverage producers and their goods can be
found throughout the store shelves including in the large bulk area. The
store has a "Corner Kitchen" which makes grab-and-go sandwiches and various
baked goods daily (Don't miss the rosemary shortbread!), a seasonal pop-up
nursery February through November gets quite large, and local hand-scooped
