Beis Medrash of Woodmere
Beis Medrash of Woodmere was founded in August of 2013 by a group of enthusiastic individuals with the hopes of establishing a Shul where Talmud Torah would infuse their lives and families. Led by Rabbi Akiva Willig (of Riverdale, N.Y.), the shul maintains a strong commitment to Tefilla and Torah study, and has already made a significant impact in the burgeoning Torah community of Woodmere. Presently, the shul offers Shabbos minyanim (with a hot Kiddush!) as well as an array of exciting shiurim for both men and women.
Rabbi Willig, with his dynamic and affable personality, has connected with many of the families in the neighborhood and is available for halachic guidance. Together with the BMW's families, Rabbi Willig looks forward to increasing the light of Torah in our community.
Beis Medrash of Woodmere is a 501(c)3 exempt organization
